Visa to Wright State University on june 28th at New Delhi Embassy

Got my Visa Power!!!!!

Heylo all,
I'm Naveen from Hyderabad. I got my U.S. Visa to Wright State
University on june 28th at New Delhi Embassy. Directly I'm going to
post my interview experience instead of explaining U all the
formalities before the visa intrvw. My interview was scheduled on june
28th, 2006 at 9 A.M. at Delhi Embassy. Here is my experience:

before me were 4 rejects(F1 students who are working in MNC's like
satyam, lanco, birlasoft, infosys..) then it was me who was
interviewed.

Me: Gud morning officer, Hw are you doing?
VO: gud morning...(not looking at me and was typing something on
his computer)
Me: Can I have a sweet smile from U sir?(since he was not looking
at me, I played a tricky to make him to look at me.....)
VO: suddenly came close to window and looked at me for 2-3 seconds
and then gave a big smile and then started laughing...
Me: Thank you sir
till then he was so serious in his work but when i asked him to
give him a smile, he started smiling alot...Here itself I thought I
got visa
VO: smiling...why this university?
Me: The name of my university itself speaks about the Imagination
and Innovation principles of Wright brothers and these principles are
being carried out in the university particularily in my specialisation
producing alot of Electrical Engineers who can imagine and Innovate
new things to the world. So I was very much fascinated by the above
principles and decided to have a MS degree in wireless communications
at wright state university.(seemed to be very much impressed)
VO: which specialisation?
Me: wireless communications sir
VO: u were in ECE in ur undergraduation..rght.. so why did u chose
ECE in your undergraduation?
Me: Sir, I was very much impressed by the Ham Radio applications
when I was to fair at Birla planitorium(edho pekha)
again seemed to be impressed..
VO: okeh, give me ur acads and GRE, TOEFL score cards?
Me; passed them(He even dint looked at my score reports and gave
back to me but was observing my degree certificate keenly turning it
up and down)
VO: marksheets?
Me: I passed my CMM
VO: No dear, give me ur individual mark sheets?
Me: passed them.
VO: Any backlogs?
Me: yes sir, 5
VO: why?
Me: sir, our university(JNTU) has introduced the set pattern in
our 2nd year instead of having a common question paper for all, so I
had its impact on my result.(Actually i had 3 backlogs in 2-2 and 2
backlogs in 3-2)
VO: what?
Me: repeated the same answer.
VO: okeh, seeing my ds forms..so u have graduated in 2005 what
have you been doing since then?
Me:I was working as software engineer at_____ company( I dint worked at all)
VO: can u show me the proof?
Me: passed the service certificate which I took to the intrvw along with me
VO: reading each and every alphabet in that askd me what ur job profile was?
Me:i was developing software mobile applications using WAP technologies
VO: u have got a good job then, why are going for masters?
Me: I was into the software applications of mobile technologies
but I want to have a career into hardware(edho cheppa anteh, I even
dont know y i told like that)
VO:Seeing at my I20..how are you going to fund your studies?
Me: My parents are going to sponser me
VO; what do they do?
Me: said
VO:can u show me ur financial docs?
Me: will the CA statement b sufficient for you sir..?
VO: okeh give it
Me: passed it but had a very quick glance at it and returned it back to me.
VO: any siblings?
Me: yes sir, 1
VO: elder or younger?
Me: elder sir( At this time he came close to the window and was
looking at my eyes whether i was confident in saying or not)
VO: ru sure?
Me: yes sir
VO: once again asked ru sure?
Me: yes sir(in a loud voice)
Vo: okeh okeh ,cool my dear
Me: its okeh sir no probs
Vo: ru taking any loan?
Me:i dint understand what he said and asked him again(2 times)
Finally i heard only a single word as LOAN
Me: immediately said No sir, i have got enough funds.
VO: folding my passport with the ds forms said something...
Me: i could not hear that what he said but thought I got my
visa(becoz he took my passport)
Me: thank you very much sir....u made my day
VO: its okeh my son...thank you

I am planning to fly after aug 15th... so anyone going to
wright state university can do reply me back. Moreover, any queries
regarding visa or applications u can post to me at this mail
